| Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) prevents the wheels from locking during emergencies and on slippery roads. Brake Assist (BA) increases braking pressure in an emergency situation while Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) ensures that both front and rear wheels have an equal braking distribution control for stable and responsive braking.

The Jazz Hybrid was extensively crash-tested at Honda's exclusive Real World Crash Test Facility to ensure excellent protection in car-to-car collisions.
Protective Body Construction
To make it safer to pedestrians, the Jazz Hybrid is also designed to minimize impact. The pedestrian safety body design includes a windshield base, fender brackets, hood hinges, wiper pivots and engine hood structure.
Immobilizer & Security Alarm
The first security barrier in the event of a car theft. Inside the ignition key and engine lies on computer chip, each calibrated with a matching code. Only a key with the matching code can ignite the engine. And if it doesn't match, the engine is automatically immobilized.
ABS & EBD
Anti-lock Breaking System (ABS) prevents the wheels from locking during emergencies and on slippery roads. Electronic Brake-Force Distribution (EBD) ensures that both front and rear wheels have an equal braking distribution control - for stable and responsive breaking.
Front 3-Point ELR Safety Belts
With the Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) system, seatbelts in the new Jazz Hybrid keep you strapped in safely by automatically tightening and locking even in a head-on collision.
