Both 3M and Ecotint emerged as applicators of choice for Honda Malaysia after having gone through a stringent selection process to find the best products that meet the requirements for Honda vehicles. 3M imports their films from both Japan and Korea while the films from Ecotint are manufactured by Sumitomo Osaka Cement Co., Ltd. in Japan. Honda Malaysia believes that the high quality films will be able to provide customers with a comfortable and safer driving experience. This is made possible as the tinting films serve as a reliable shield from the sunlight and help keep the interior cooler. With customer’s safety and security in mind, the films are also designed to help hold the glass fragments together, reducing potential injury from flying glass.
The films are available at various thickness at permissible level of visible light transmittance (VLT) which complies with the Road Transport Department (JPJ) regulations. Using non-metallized and low infrared rejection films, customers do not need to worry about interference of electromagnetic signals such as the usage of GPS and Smart Tag.
The value for money window tinting films also offers the benefits of convenience such as transferable ownership for warranty, nationwide after sales support as well as shorter and safer installation process for customers. Honda customers who purchase the window tint will also enjoy a 5 years warranty from the date of installation.
Honda Malaysia is committed to provide high quality services to all customers and the installation of the films is no different. In the market, the films are usually measured and trimmed directly on the car windows during installation process. The heating process can damage the surrounding rubber and plastic parts while scratches on the windows are common secondary defects due to the cutting process. This collaboration with 3M and Ecotint has enabled both suppliers to pre-heat and pre-cut their films specifically for Honda vehicles. Hence, installation process will be shortened and the risk of damaging the vehicle can be reduced.
Honda customers can now enjoy the convenience of having their vehicle window tinting done for them at any Honda dealers nationwide, while having the peace of mind on warranty and quality of the tint. Honda Malaysia also assures its customers of after sales support for all tint related issues at all 82 authorized Honda dealers nationwide. With this additional service, Honda Malaysia continues its commitment to provide best after sales services in order to ensure customer’s satisfaction and increase the joy of buying for every Honda customer.
