Kuala Lumpur, 4 December 2024 - Honda Malaysia (or the Company) invites Malaysians to experience the present and future of mobility at the Kuala Lumpur International Mobility Show (KLIMS) 2024, happening from 5^th to 11^th December 2024. To excite visitors at the country’s largest auto show, the Company will showcase a host of Honda mobility products and innovative technologies, including a concept model, a battery electric vehicle and two personal mobility products that are making their first appearance in Malaysia.

• Prelude Concept

  Headlining Honda’s showcase at KLIMS 2024 is the Prelude Concept, making its exclusive debut in Malaysia – the only country in Asia outside Japan to feature this distinctive concept model. Reflecting its name, the Prelude Concept offers a prelude of Honda’s future models, designed to advance the “joy of driving” into the electrified future while staying true to Honda’s iconic sports DNA. This concept sports model embodies Honda’s unwavering commitment to creating products that are not only thrilling to drive but also contribute to a sustainable future. By integrating electrification and enhancing accessibility to automated driving technologies, the Prelude Concept reflects Honda's vision of achieving carbon neutrality, and improving everyday life for its drivers.

Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV)

• Honda e:N1

  Honda Malaysia’s first BEV, set to be introduced in 2025 for the Malaysian market. The Honda e:N1 reimagines the electric driving experience with its innovative three‑in‑one electric motor system. It inherits Honda’s dynamic genes to deliver instant responsiveness and exhilarating acceleration.

Personal Mobility Products

1. Motocompacto

   The Motocompacto redefines personal mobility with its game‑changing, revolutionary e‑scooter design, engineered for ultimate compactness, clean transportation, and convenience. Its foldable frame allows for effortless storage and portability, making it easy to carry and fit into tight storage spaces. Perfectly suited for modern city life, the Motocompacto provides an environmental‑friendly and practical solution for urban commutes.

2. Honda eVTOL

   eVTOL, which stands for electric vertical take‑off and landing aircraft, enables greater freedom by integrating three‑dimensional mobility. It can significantly reduce travel time and allow people to travel to destinations beyond the reach of cars. Honda strives to revolutionise mobility by making sky travel more accessible. The eVTOL is part of Honda’s efforts to take on challenges in new areas, which will enable mankind to expand the existing range of mobility products and services.

2.0L VTEC Turbo

• Civic Type R

  Under the hood of the Civic Type R is a powerful 2.0L VTEC Turbo engine that produces a mighty 319PS and 420Nm of torque. This ultimate high‑performance engine offers improved output, torque, and response for an unmatched driving experience. The Civic Type R goes from 0-100km/h in 5.5 seconds, offering a thrilling drive in four driving modes ‑ Comfort, Sport, +R, and a new Individual mode that is customisable by the driver.

e:HEV Technology and Models

1. 2.0L e:HEV - CR‑V and Civic

   The CR‑V is Honda Malaysia’s flagship model that delivers a combination of advanced technology and performance. At the heart of this CR‑V is a new generation 2.0L e:HEV powertrain, generating up to 335Nm of torque and 184PS of maximum power.
